The Power of Pentecost

Finally, on the day of Pentecost, in fulfillment of the great harvest of the Feast of Weeks, the Holy Spirit is poured out in His fullness upon the disciples, for the purpose of building His Kingdom by fulfilling His commission of bringing the Gospel to the ends of the earth. By the Spirit’s pouring out, all believers even to this day are empowered and equipped for the ministry of taking the Gospel to the world, that by it, Christ might build His Church.

Acts 2:1-4 “When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested[a] on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
